Nursing Groups Look to Tackle COVID Misinformation Nurses have not been immune from fueling falsehoods medpagetoday

Inaccuracies and falsehoods about COVID-19 continue to spread, with healthcare providers contributing to the confusion.
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) announced this week that it and a bevy of other nursing organizations have issued a policy brief aimed at addressing misinformation being spread by members of the field.
"Nurses are urged to recognize that dissemination of misinformation not only jeopardizes the health and well-being of the public, but may place their license and career in jeopardy as well," the organizations wrote in the brief. ...
